just when you thought that was quite enough for one day, we can proove otherwise... instead of going back to the hostel, we somehow ended up drinking the worst sweetest wine we have ever tasted (apparently the best that chile has to offer!?!...debatable!) in the house of one of the family members who once lived in germany. so there we were... a german couple, a german girl, a kiwi, an austrian dude and two chilian sitting and watching Deutsche Welle TV ,looking at old pictures and a hitler portrait... nothing to add... speaks for itself

Chilian Hospitality part two_ puerto montt
....since we arrived in southamerica we are experiencing unique moments each day- funny ones. interesting ones and just weird ones. so no wonder when we eventually left the cozy home of mauricios family and went all the way down to puerto montt, the beginning of patagonia, we ended up in another partaking in yet another family feast. A traditional chilinean dish cooked in a stone base box fire covered with large native leafs. At first, we thought it might be a tourist thing, but nooope... they haven´t had this style of cookup in 3 years. just because the parents of a austrian+chiliean couple were over for a visit.food everywhere... sooo much food soo many mussels and again. i have to annonuce (helli) I HAD MUSSELS and i can tell they are NOT YUM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! there was also a dancing (jumping) dog..bizarre! and quite sad and it´s parkinsons disease for dogs..just kept bouncing up and down.
